In response to our short article "Tips on raising an American Bulldog puppy," Jacob Ballard wrote: "Thats a cute copy and paste from whomever, however puppy shots should not be four weeks apart JS" We are happy this troll made this post because we can actually elucidate a very critical aspect of a puppy-buying process since we actually saw him and a dog he produced at a show! 1st - Jacob Ballard and his friends out of Sacramento area are illiterates who probably can't fathom anyone writing grammatically correct original content that is longer than two sentences, let alone understand the intricacies of breeding and raising American Bulldogs. Please forgive him. 2nd - His statement demonstrates his terrifying lack of knowledge about vaccinations. He claims to be a breeder. Anyone that would get swindled into getting a dog from him would be under danger of losing their dog to a plethora of deadly diseases for which vaccines are available. 3rd - Jake Ballard claims to sell "top quality show dogs" according to his FB page. See this video: View: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uVCNZcsGdqk That's none other than Jake Ballard himself in the blue shirt and jeans dragging that dog around the ring. This poor pup, aged between 6-9 months, appears as if it's her first time to ever see outside of a kennel and is terrified of her own shadow. If you'd like to see how a puppy needs to be shown, see the video below. And for bonus points, you get to also see another "breeder" from that same clique in Sacramento area showing another terrified puppy in the ring. PROPER WAY TO SHOW A DOG IN THE RING: View: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z9hi0H1BeD0 Jake Ballard is clueless about breeding, vaccinations, and showing.
